Ethiopia Guji Hambella

$8.00 – $32.00

This very special lot comes from the Guji region of Oromia, renowned for its rich volcanic soil and high altitude growing that yields remarkable coffees. The Guji region receives ample rainfall and is marked by steep mountainous terrain, perfect conditions to support the vast array of coffee found here. Only recently have Guji coffees been distinguished from neighbouring Sidamo and Yirgacheffe producing areas due to their immense quality and unique profiles.

Just like all naturally processed coffee, the cherries are dried on raised beds, dry milled, and then finally bagged and prepared for export. The meticulous processing steps ensure the beans reach Grade 1 standards, the highest attainable for Ethiopian coffee. In the cup, this coffee is packed with tropical fruity flavours that yield to subtle hints of nuts with a tea like body and heady aromas.
